Agricultural Education

What will I study?
The Agricultural Education specialization emphasizes teacher training in which the individual leads by example and sets standards of performance that guide a student's transition into adult roles at home, local community, and universities.

Agricultural Education develops competencies for employment or entrepreneurial opportunities in agriculture and promotes meaningful and practiceal application of the content of other subject areas, such as science and math into daily practices.

This specialization is for those students who plan to be in agricultural programs in communications, cooperative extension, secondary and post-secondary educational institutions and industry.

The Agricultural Education specialization focuses on individual needs by preparing the student in teacher training, public relations, leadership training and through student organization functions such as the Collegiate FFA and the Agricultural Education Club.
